The Artisan Story

Originally used in Turkish baths, Turkish towels — known as peshtamels or hammam towels — have been hand-loomed in Turkey for centuries. Our towels are woven by small, family-owned workshops in the Denizli region, where weaving is both a livelihood and a proud tradition. Only eco-friendly, OEKO-TEX certified natural fibres are used, and every tassel is hand-knotted by women in their homes — keeping centuries of craftsmanship alive.
